I know I just posted like an hour ago, but I have more rambly thoughts. Sorry. :P

Dear Douchemobile,

You've been making me feel really uncomfortable lately. You're just... I don't know. You don't treat me very well. You've been kind of condescending to me, which I don't like. You... act like you're in a position where you care (to some extent, at least) about my feelings, but you've demonstrated pretty clearly that you don't. And I can say that, because when I've asked you to not to do something, or tried to explain my view on something to you, I just get brushed off like my opinion doesn't count for anything. And uh, I don't even need to explain why I don't like that, do I? I feel kind of... taken advantage of, I think, in certain respects. And I'm not exactly hurt, at this point, just because I have no reason to believe you could have done better, you know? It's just kind of disappointing, I guess. Not that it really matters that much at this point, right? :\

I'm so bad at explaining pansexuality. ;_; I inadvertently outed myself to one of my friends yesterday- she was cool and all, she just didn't know what it was- and I kind of flailed around trying to explain it. Fortunately, she's the kind of person who will either ask me again, or look it up (lol, fellow MAP scholar), so it's not really a problem, but still. I need a better way to explain it.

Part of the problem, I think, is that a lot of people aren't used to thinking of gender as fluid, so they don't really see how pan is any different from bi. (I mean, they're kinda the same, but kinda not.) And I'm not really equipped to explain gender to people at random, you know? :P

I dunno. It's just kinda frustrating that almost no one ever knows what pan means.

In other news, SAFE is putting up actually useful posters this year! With a room number and everything! :D

Also, the first week of classes is almost over. French and German are pretty much the same as before. (And lol, we're not going to have German for the next two weeks. I told Frau Diewald not to get sick this time) Sociology seems like it'll be okay. Advanced World Lit might be obnoxious, but it's hard to tell yet. The teacher's one of those... handwavey Trelawny-ish English teachers, if you know what I mean. And Intro to the Major is... informative. The teacher seems to trying to crush all our spirits. :\ Today was better than Tuesday. I think it's just one of those classes. You know, the ones that eat your soul a little.

On an unrelated note (to anything, really), it's really hard for me to take you seriously if you don't capitalize, punctuate, or even attempt to use correct spelling and grammar. I can live with the no caps thing if you punctuate correctly, but a combo? Nope. Not reading, not taking you seriously.

It's almost always really loud in the house during the day, and it drives me crazy. Basically, once my grandfather gets home from work, I have to hide in the back of the house until the grandparents go to bed. It drives me crazy, probably even more so because I have good hearing.

Also, the bitch is finally getting a hearing test. Gee, she's only been hard of hearing for, what, ten years. Not like that doesn't affect her, and everyone around her or anything. Nope.

And my vine hatchling is refusing to mature. And I almost got a paper egg yesterday.

....Seriously guys, stop shouting. Turn the tv down. You're gonna give me a headache... again. I'm gonna go in the back as soon as I hit "post."

On another note, I really like having journals on different sites. It lets me rant about stuff I couldn't here. It's nice. (Oh, and is anyone on insanejournal?)

Hey, guess what? No.

So, we have two dogs and a cat that are allowed in the house (and several other outdoor cats). The cat, Fizz, is about ten, and has lived here for nearly all of her life. Kolby, the Basset hound, is in his teens. He's a pretty mellow dog, doesn't get into trouble for much except that he's loud. The other dog, Cindy, is a Corgi and about a year old or so.

Cindy chases the cats. All of them, and just about constantly. She sees a cat, she wants to run up and pokepokepoke it and frequently chew on its neck. Not good behavior. Overall, everyone's pretty good about keeping her off the outdoor cats. Fizz, on the other hand...

If Fizz is on the floor, and Cindy sees her, Cindy just has to chase her. Since we put Cindy in the utility room at night, that basically means the cat can't be on the floor during the day and remain unharrassed. That's shitty enough, right? (If your answer is no, you might have a problem of some sort. ~~asdk;gjfkl'ajfad~~)

Well. I've commented on that a couple of times to my grandmother (supposedly an animal lover). You know what she says? 'Well, the cat starts it half the time.' Not the point. The point is, the cat can't move about the house freely during the day. Just today, I heard my grandfather scolding Cindy for hassling the cat. I said something like "Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who fusses at her for that." (Which I was) My grandmother got pissy. She pulled out the 'the cat starts it sometimes too' argument again. And claimed that Cindy gets yelled at for bugging the cat more often than I think. She tried to argue with me about whether or not Cindy bugs the cat whenever Fizz is on the floor. Well, gee, as soon as Cindy sees the cat, what happens? Yeah, that's what I thought. I said something to the effect of the cat not being able to be on the floor if the dog is awake, and how I didn't think that was fair or okay.

She had no comment on that.

Yeah. I'm currently shaking with anger to the point where it's hard to type. That's just... No. That is not okay. I could maybe understand someone who wasn't an animal person saying something like that, but, uh. Not the case here. That woman is disgusting, frankly. If she cares so little about cats, why did we take Fizz in in the first place?

I just. I'm sick of this. I'm sick of her. I don't want to talk to her, I don't want to look at her, I don't want to have to listen to her bullshit anymore. If I had the means, I'd leave, but I doubt I'd be able to take the cats with me, and I'm not leaving them here while Cindy's here. I refuse. I just don't know what to do about this. I don't really think there's anything I can do, honestly. I. I dunno.

And I keep going back and forth from shaking with rage and wanting to break things (I won't though. At least, not anything that's not mine. I, unlike some relatives I know, have respect for other people's space and property.) to being on the verge of tears. This woman is really bad for my emotional and mental well being. School, start nao plz.

(Note for those of you who are relatively recent or don't talk to me irl much: this is not the only issue I have with this woman. This is just one that I think should offend more people than just myself. She gets on my nerves anyway, but there's no excuse for the way she's been acting about the cat.)

Uh, the tl;dr version: my grandmother continues to be an utter bitch, and now it's affecting the animals.
