And while I was in the neighborhood, I dropped by band camp. It's a lot more fun when you don't have to be there. XD Stayed through lunch and full band. Got mi madre to bring my baby belovedbass clarinet so I could play too! Yaaay! :D That's gonna be a KICKASS show, man.

I MEAN PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. DOOD. And Tainted Love, Firebird, Aftershock (a random jazz band song from a couple years ago XD), and MARIO. AWESOME. :D :D

The bad news is, since I stayed all up in the band til... just a little bit ago, I have had no lunch. ;_; The Sparky is hungry. For a meatball sub, which I don't think I'm gonna get. XD

Also? THE AIR CONDITIONER BROKE YESTERDAY. D: D: D: But it got fixed while I was visiting the band. BUT STILL. I had to sleep with a box fan thisclose to my head last night. XD

...Does anyone here want the notes, btw? It'd be for a Bb treble-clef type instrument. But hell, one of the tubas wanted a copy so he could transpose it. Lol, that's really what we did in sectionals Friday. I played the Family Guy theme. I <3 low brass. We so lazy. XD

But yeah. So... music arranging and horrible third-degree sunburn. I think I'll move into the basement and pine for the fjords some random, daydreaming, impressionable person. Volunteers? XD

School started back the... fifth? The fourth? Meh. One of the two. And I like all my classes! ^^ I've got history first block-- with Coach C again! w00t!! Second block's biology, and I got the teacher I wanted for that, too. Well, when our principal gets back and Mrs. Lauderdale stops filling in, I will. And I've got Spanish I third. And it's actually fun, omg. I'm digging it way more than I though I would. And my Spanish-name-for-the-class is the name of a character of mine. XD My character isn't sure whether she's amused or not. Eh, she'll get over it. Fourth block is, of course, marching band. Y....ay? *wants it to be concert band now*

One of my friends who came back to East this year is starting up a Buffy RP. And I'm in it. XD It's kinda funny, though, cos I'm not even that big of a Buffy fan, and I don't have the heart to tell Meghan that. I'll give it a shot. I'm playing Xander, by the way. *is looking forward to redoing the Dracula episode* XD

Ooooooh, and I saw the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie! OMG, y'all.( Just in case you don't want poorly-told spoilers XD )

Whew! Just got back from the first day. 'Twas fun, believe it or not. I'm digging the music. So far, it's classical + rock. Specifically, today, we worked on the Bohemian Rhapsody and the 1812 Overture. :D Funfunfun! Yes.

And and and, we did some basic block marching. Ow. Still fun, though, in a way.

The new breathing exercise is fun, too. We get to make a cool 'whoosh' noise! XD I kinda miss the old one, though. The smoking motion thing was too funny. *lolz0rz*

So... yeah. I think that's it. Ooh, I know. I'll post the band schedule, so those of y'all who aren't in band with me and wanna talk to me (hi Blackjack! Hi Alice! :D) know when to look for me. Or something.

Then I've got Monday and Tuesday completely free, and school starts Wednesday.
After school practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays, probably til 5p. After a few weeks, games are on Fridays. Games are over at about 10p. If we're lucky. Some Saturdays we've got contests, and I'll be gone all day for those. Yeah. When I know which Saturdays have competitions, I'll post 'em. If anyone cares, that is.

Okay, so I have a paper to do, and one of my friends got in a fight and I'm kinda worried, and I REALLY wish I had a paid account, but that's not what this entry is about. Oh no.

Okay, so the band banquet's theme is movie characters and bling-bling. In combination or separately. Lauren is going as Kouga. Emily is waffling, but probably going as Inu Yasha. Dawn is going as Sango. Alice may go if she is ungrounded by then. Especially if I shell out the five bucks for her. Lol.

Anyhoodle, the point is, who should *I* go as? Emily asid I should go as Miroku, to, you know, complete the set. I don't wanna. :P

So, suggestions? Preferably a costume that could be made cheaply, quickly, and easily. I'm lazy, yo. XD I have a few ideas that would be funny and *theoretically* relatively easy. Goemon Ishikawa, for example. Or maybe Quirrell. And I just realized earlier, whilst looking for screengrabs to screw with (figuratively speaking, of course. Perverts!) that a Jirarudan costume would be do-able. Blackjack, you have corrupted me beyond belief. XD

And going as a character that was in the show version of a movie wouldn't bother me in the slightest. So... yeah.

Oh yeah... the band banquet's in April. I think. O_o

EDIT: And, of course, there's always Snape as an option...

Well, today is all-state....but only for me. Yeah.
