The gist of it: Bus driver helps two elderly passengers across the street. Bus driver pushes them out of the way of an on-coming pickup truck. Bus driver sustains multiple serious injuries. Bus driver receives ticket for jaywalking. Other helpful passenger recieves ticket for jaywalking. Little old ladies may also receive ticket for jaywalking.

In other other news, yeah, I've been more or less offline the past week/week and half or so because of finals. I'll probably on more (particularly in the small hours of the night/morning, since hey, winter break) after today. On the other hand, it's finally wintery, which means it is pleasant and enjoyable outside. So who knows? But anyway, yeah. If you actually wanna talk to me about something, leave me a comment on lj/myspace. I will see it, probably fairly soon. Just, yeah.

Also, I just emptied my camera onto the laptop, and now I have no idea what to upload to the internets. I mean, I like one of the cat pics, and I have a bunch of lulzy pics of Stina and Chalarity and such, but I'm supposed to be uploading pics of me or something. Blech. I don't photo well at all. I think I'll just stay Rick Astley on myspace for now. (Also, lol, should probably upload Persacon pics someday. But that day is not today.)

Also also, this song makes me lol. I got it off a Scarecrow fanmix, but it totally has a verse about a guy dressed in green... who is, apparently, a lovin' machine. Scarecrow/Riddler? Yeah, I kind of ship it now. :D

Why does it smell like dog poo in the study lounge? Also, one of the lights burned out, and it was kinda freaky to watch.

I think when I'm not paper writing, I'ma writing some crazy!fic, probably of the orig fic variety. I do think the Doc (no I haven't talked about that character or what he's from on here before, don't worry) needs some fleshing out. Or some fleshing at all. Heh. Or or or. Augh, let me not ramble about my orig fic. 'Cuz when I talk it out, I never write it down. No offence, y'all. (Y'all? I swear, I'm not a real Southerner, it's just a convenient word, okay??)

Oh, Heathus, I just had another Creepy James encounter.


I... Good lord, I think he asked me out, in a strange, Creepy Jamesly sort of way. O_O

I was in the Caf, checking to see if the pizza bar had anything good (it didn't), when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around in about three different directions, and lo and behold, there was Creepy James with a big-ass bowl of Lucky Charms. He waved and asked how things were going, and asked for a hug. I said classes were keeping me busy and such, and he nodded along. Then he said something along the lines of "we should hang out sometime," and I think I nodded or something. And then, "How about this? Saturday at seven, I'll meet you outside Brooke, and we'll hang out." Somehow I managed not to pull a face, and said something along the lines of 'sure, if nothing else comes up.' Then he hugged me again and wandered away.

WHO WANTS TO GO FAR, FAR AWAY AND DO SOMETHING ON SATURDAY? O_O

By the way, it's extremely difficult to take someone holding a huge bowl of Lucky Charms seriously. Just for the record, or something.

So, does anyone actually have non-shitty parents and/or a non-shitty significant other? I mean, I have one awesome parent and one usually pretty good parent. (And no S.O., obvs.) But lately everyone around me's parents are being shitty/especially shitty (depending on the baseline shittiness of the particular parents), and so are their boy/girl/whateverfriends. Someone restore my faith in humanity please. D:

In other news, does anyone else get annoyed when you're chatting with someone and all you get is a series of links to things? Like, little to no conversation, just "hey, look at this!" every five seconds. Might just be me, I dunno.


In other, more pleasant news, I wore a skirt today! :3 Perhaps I shall take a pic, 'cuz it's a pretty skirt.

EDIT: Also, I really wish people would stop interrupting 'Stina (or anyone, really, but it's happening to her a lot recently) when she's trying to talk to them. It pisses me off, and I'm not the one trying to talk here! Basic conversational courtesies, get you some. >:|
